The Wigglebutz Story
Wigglebutz was founded in 2003 by Kevin and Sally Penner. For over a decade, they poured their hearts into grooming, breeding, and loving dogs, building Wigglebutz into one of the most trusted pet care destinations in Fort Wayne. In 2024, they passed the torch to us, and we are honored to carry their vision forward.
At Wigglebutz, our mission is simple: to treat every pet like family. From grooming to boarding, we provide top-quality care, attention, and love — making sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and pampered every step of the way.
Meet the NEW OWNERS
Meet the Owners
We’re Brad and Lindsey, proud parents of five amazing kids — and passionate animal lovers. Our family has always had a special bond with dogs. Between 2017 and 2019, we bred dogs as a family and have owned several Yorkshire Terriers and Golden Retrievers throughout the years. Alongside our pups, we’ve also cared for horses and chickens — animals have always been part of our lives.
Brad is an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully owned and operated several businesses. Lindsey earned her teaching degree from IPFW in 2004 and dedicated her early years to raising their five children. Once the kids started school, she launched Tippmann Rentals, a business that not only supported their family but also partnered with Young Mothers of America to help young women rebuild their lives.
Today, we are thrilled to continue our journey with animals and carry on the Wigglebutz legacy.
Meet Our Groomers
Meet Susan:
Susan has been part of our team for over eight years, and she brings a lot of heart and experience to her work. Before joining us, she spent 16 years as a teacher, a role that shaped her love for learning and connecting with people.
At home, Susan’s world is full of life with her husband, two daughters, two dogs—Linus and Olly—and two cats, Beatrice and Magnolia. She loves curling up with a good book and enjoys long walks with her dogs. Susan’s caring nature and enthusiasm make her a joy to work with, both in the office and in everyday life.
Hanna:
Hanna has been grooming for three years, but her love for animals goes way back—she’s pretty much had fur on her clothes her whole life. At home, she’s happily outnumbered by her two German Shepherd–Husky mixes and three cats, who always keep her on her toes. When she’s not pampering pups at work, Hanna loves hanging out with her boyfriend and tackling projects around the new house they just bought. For her, spending time with animals isn’t just a job—it’s her favorite part of every day.

With two years of grooming experience, Abby brings care and attention to every pet she works with.
